Out of the Woods: Carvings byMann 

I'm a woodcarver through and through!  I have another T-shirt that says “100% Woodcarver.” I love this three-dimensional form of artistic expression. Besides, it’s just plain fun!

I carve in several styles, including traditional, stylized, realistic, caricature, and chip carving. My favorites are carving traditional animals and birds, human caricatures, all kinds of Christmas ornaments, and wood spirits. I’ll put a wood spirit face on anything—a pencil, a walking stick, a cypress knee, or a piece of cottonwood bark.
